The question being adressed is whether Senator Rick Santorum will be able to raise his numbers in the State of Iowa before the time of the caucus on Jan 3rd. As of right now he sits at sixth place projected at least. The article described how he has made an effort to campaign a different way than the rest of the front runners. Instead of using his money on tv and radio ads, he has made his way around to every county in the state to meet the people directly. The author's position shows how it seems very unlikely for him to make up enough ground for a shot at winning the state but shows the hard work ethic he presents as a candidate. The impact this atricle could have is that he may gain some voters becasue some people may like the fact that he isn't being like everyone else. He's being creative with his efforts to try something new to get more public recognition.
