Article Title: Can Romney Conquer Gingrich, Own Ceiling?
Date: 12-15
Author: Stuart Rothenberg

The question being adressed in this article is whether Mitt Romney will be able to win any of the big republican caucuses such as Iowa, NH, or South Carolina. It states expresses how in Iowa Romeny's voting percentage of approval tops out at 25% and it has remained at that for quite some time now. Even with other candidates' numbers increasing/decreasing, he can't seem to break through his own ceiling. As the other describes it, the ceiling isn't made of glass, it's made of solid concrete. I learned that Gingrich, Romney's main opponent in the race is dislike by most conservatives just as Romney is. But when it comes down to it, most at this point at least would chose Romney if they had to. The author's position seems to be in support of Romney. At times he seems as if he's trying to make Gingrich's support seem lower or point out how he will lose. This will impact the political arena because many of the readers of this article will tend to lean more towards Romney after reading the possibility of Gingrich's race to "self destruct".
