The question that is being adressed in my first article about Mitt Romney was wether or not he will be able to hold on to his lead over Gingrich in the state of New Hampshire. The article expresses that Romney has been a favorite to win the state because he was a neighboring governor of MA, and owns a home in NH. However, Gingrich and Romney were both making speeches in New Hampshire at the same time and it resulted in them attackin each other instead of the rest of the candidates or the president. I learned that Romney has been recently losing his popularity to Gingrich and if he cannot maintain the lead in NH, he may be in for some trouble because Gingrich is already the favorite for other key states like Iowa and South Carolina. The author takes the position of stating that Romney if he plays his cards well will be okay but expresses that it's esential for him to hold on to New Hampshire over Gingrich, his main opponent. This has an impact on the political arena because it shows how the tides are shifting and some candidates are losing their edge while others are gaining ground quickly.
Im doing this from a computer that I didn't save the links on so I will update the author and date and the rest later.
